An overnight journey is also an ideal opportunity to further your practical dive training at the outer Great Barrier Reef. Under the guidance of our expert instructors, you're in the safest hands.
Complimentary Accommodation transfers from Cairns properties are included and a pick up time can be confirmed at once you are booked in. Alternatively please be at 319 Draper Street by 8.00am for check in and transfer to the Marina.
Day 1
7.30-8am: Pick up from your city accommodation (if booked) and check in at our dive centre at 319 Draper Street before transferring to the marina
8.30am: Set off from Cairns Marina and cruise out to the reef on our day trip vessel SeaQuest with two dive/snorkel sessions before you transfer onto OceanQuest.
2.30pm: During the afternoon you’ll have the opportunity for more snorkel and dive sessions, and to relax on board.
6pm: Dinner is served
6.30pm: Sharks in the Dark
8pm: Dessert
10pm: Bar closes
Day 2
7.30am: Breakfast time! Sit down to a full cooked breakfast to fuel you for the day ahead.
8.30am: Dive or snorkel session
10.30am: Dive or snorkel session
12pm: Check out of your cabin
12.30pm: Lunch
2.30pm: Our transfer vessel arrives to return you to Cairns
3pm: Depart Outer Barrier Reef
5pm (approx): Return to your Cairns accommodation

Certified Diver - Self Assessment Medical Questionnaire
Complete the following medical self-assessment prior to your dive trip. If you indicate yes, then a medical from a Doctor would be required.
Note to women: If you are pregnant, or attempting to become pregnant, do not dive.
Recreational scuba diving and freediving requires good physical and mental health. There are a few medical conditions which can be hazardous while diving. If you have any concerns about your diving fitness not represented on this form, consult with your physician before diving. If you are feeling ill, avoid diving. If you think you may have a contagious disease, protect yourself and others by not participating in dive training and/ or dive activities. For your safety, and that of others who may dive with you, answer all questions honestly.
1. Have you ever suffered any illness or injury that may affect your ability to dive or snorkel safely?
2. Are you currently suffering or have ever suffered from any illness, injury or condition relating to a heart or lung disorder, asthma, epilepsy, diabetes or any condition that is a contradictive to diving?
3. Are you presently taking prescription medications? (with the exception of birth control or anti-malarial medication)
4. Are you NOT medically & physically fit to dive/snorkel?
